Czech economy

Did you know that..

Spain has good conditions for online retailing: 47 million inhabitants with a share of over 87 percent Internet users and a constant growth rate in e-commerce. The largest sales in Spanish online retail (with over 5 billion and thus a third of total sales) are generated by the fashion sector. This is hardly surprising since Intidex (including Zara, Bershka, Massimo Dutti, Oysho, Pull&Bear, Stradivarius, Uterqüe and Lefties) one of the world’s largest textile companies comes from Spain. As in many other European countries, Amazon dominates online retail, accounting for one-third of Spanish online sales.

A peculiarity in Spain is that the preferred online payment method is PayPal. Furthermore, Spaniards prefer to use their laptop or PC for online shopping instead of their smartphone. Therefore, it makes sense for online stores to optimize their user experience (page speed, usability, etc.) for laptop use.
